Listening Beyond Words
How does it feel to receive someone’s undivided attention? No interruptions, no questions, no solutions, no thoughts from their experience. It is a gift and this is listening.
Listening requires the listener to put their attention out to the talker. It requires them to suspend all judgment, stop thinking of what they will say next, be still to absorb the words and energy of the talker – then the listener can hear what is being said and perhaps what’s not being said.
Listening with me involves going beyond our voices and our ears, we use our bodies, our heart and soul. We explore those in your system, team members, stakeholders, sometimes those who have gone before and often those yet to come.
Listening is an essential, learned skill which you will master to help you find your flow and your teams flow.
